Hardware Selection

WorkDESK uses current technology, not found in older operating systems. Take care when selecting your operating system.

Talk to your hardware supplier for more information and, if you wish, provide configuration details to the WorkDESK Marketing Group for (their) comment.

If you are buying new equipment, we recommend that you buy 64 bit processor based hardware and install 64 bit versions of the operating system on the new equipment, because 32 bit hardware and operating systems support a maximum of 4GBytes of RAM. Also take advice from your hardware supplier, as some older software, peripheral equipment and printers that you might be keeping may not have compatible 64 bit drivers.
